Learning
- The UA Distance Learning program works with other departments and units on campus to develop and deliver specialized certificates and degree programs using video, CD-ROM, and Web technology. Engineering and Optical Sciences courses are featured, as is a Master of Engineering degree that can be completed entirely at a distance.
Independent Study
through Correspondence
- Independent Study through Correspondence credit courses are available to students anytime, anywhere. Students from middle school to graduate school can set their own pace and take up to nine months to complete a course. Any class offered for credit at UA Correspondence may also be taken for personal development or enrichment, for no credit.
Professional
Development
- Professional Development offers programs that train and prepare organizations and individuals in IT and business skills. Programs are delivered on campus or in customized courses at a company or workplace.

Outreach
- Credit Outreach offers a variety of flexibly-scheduled degree and certificate courses and programs for University of Arizona academic credit – both on and off the UA campus.
Evening &
Weekend Campus
- Evening & Weekend Campus is specifically designed to serve working adults, and addresses the educational needs of students who wish to earn a bachelor's degree, but can only attend classes in the evenings and on weekends. B.A. degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS), Communication, Political Science, and Psychology are offered.
Youth
Programs
- Youth Programs - Students in grades 3-12 are introduced to the excitement of a college environment through specialty summer camps offered through UA academic units, including the College of Law, the College of Optical Sciences, the School of Music, and the College of Nursing.
Seniors' Programs
- Seniors' Programs includes two programs specifically designed for individuals 55 years of age and older: Elderhostel and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). Elderhostel offers participants the opportunity to explore Tucson, Nogales, and Mexico through educational travel and programs. OLLI is a member-led organization featuring stimulating, noncredit learning on a university level.

Parking at the University of Arizona

Parking Garage Map When attending a UA Professional Development class free parking is provided. We recommend you park at the Main Gate Parking Garage and enter from the north side on 1st Avenue (see map). You can park on any level but you will need to come across the 3rd level bridge and enter our building. Computer labs will be directly in front of you when you enter the USB (University Services Building).

Due to events at the University or the Marriott University Hotel the Main Gate Garage may be full. If the Main Gate Garage is full, you can park in other UA parking garages but we recommend you use the Tyndall Parking Garage at 880 East 4th Street as an alternate parking garage (see map). The Tyndall garage is located just south of our building (USB) south of the University Blvd and Tyndall. You can enter the Tyndall garage from 4th Street and Euclid or off Tyndall south of University.

Computer Education staff will provide you with a parking coupon at the end of your class. Take the free coupon and your parking ticket to the cashier on the first level of the parking garage. Your parking ticket will be validated and you can exit the parking garage. You can visit the UA Parking web site at: http://parking.arizona.edu/ for additional details.
