Homeschooling?

We have the courses you need.

Your child can receive a quality education with homeschooling. Many parents have watched their children thrive with homeschooling and say the one-on-one interaction builds self-esteem.

The University of Arizona’s Independent Study through Correspondence program offers more than 170 high school, middle school, and elementary school courses, and serves students from around the world. All courses are authored and instructed by active teachers. Each course represents one semester and is worth one-half unit of credit.

Instructor Spotlight

Wendy Davis, ANS 142

The University of Arizona enjoys the distinction of being one of only two schools in the United States that offers coursework focusing on the horse-racing industry. A graduate of this unique program, Wendy Davis went on to teach equine science at Pima Community College before returning to The University of Arizona in 1989 to teach full time.

“I enjoy the students who take the ANS 142 class and then decide to switch career paths and complete the degree as much as those who are fans of racing and just want to learn more about it for their general interest.”

Course News & Updates

“Working full time prevented me from attending courses on a regular basis, so the correspondence program was a perfect fit for my schedule.”
