Follow these steps to register for an Undergraduate Distance Learning course:

1. Get admitted to the University of Arizona

1. Admission
You must be admitted to the University or Arizona as a degree or non-degree student before you can take any courses for credit.

• Undergraduate students who have been admitted to the UA for the current semester or who took a class in the previous semester – go to Step 2.
• Not admitted? Download UA Undergraduate Admission Form or Undergraduate International Admission Form.
• Mail the form to UA Distance Learning (see contact information, below) with your payment as indicated on the form. Do this as soon as possible. (Don ’t fax this form. Colleges require your original signature.) If you wish, you can mail in your registration, your certificate application (if applicable), and your payment along with the admission form.

2. Who can register on this web site?

Any student wanting to enroll in a web based or video streamed courses offered by Distance Learning.

3. Course delivery options; tuition and fees; important dates; refund policies; FAQs; proctors

• Course delivery options: Some engineering courses are entirely web-based. Others are video-taped on campus and then distributed to students through videostreaming. Students taking video-taped courses can opt to receive the courses on DVDs in addition to receiving the videostreamed version. There’s an additional fee for this service.
• Tuition and fees.
• Important dates and refund policies.
• Frequently Asked Questions for Distance students.
• Proctor forms and information: You must submit a Proctor Approval Form and a Proctor Agreement Form every semester.
• Tuition payment plan.

4. Register for Class

• Select a course from this semester’s Course List.
• Complete the Summer 2008 or Fall 2008 Undergraduate Registration Form.
• If you’re selecting the tuition payment plan, complete the UA Distance Learning Tuition Payment Plan Enrollment Form and include it with your first payment.
• Mail or fax the form(s) together with your payment to UA Distance Learning (see contact information, below).
• If you are applying for admission to UA, you can include these forms and payments with your registration materials. Remember – if you’re including your Admission form with your original signature, you’ll have to mail the materials or bring them in to our office.
