PROJ500: PMP Exam Preparation

Along with the UA Project Management Certificate program, The University of Arizona is now offering a Project Management Professional Exam Preparation course. According to information found on the Project Management Institute (PMI) Web site, individuals with a PMP credential demonstrate to employers that they possess a proficiency in project management leadership and, as a result, command significantly higher salaries than their non-credentialed counterparts.

Students taking the PMP Exam Preparation course should already have a sound grasp of project management. These students will prepare for the exam by reviewing selected material and focusing in on areas of weakness, which will allow them to improve their chances of passing the exam.

The instructor, Stephen Hall, is a Project Management and Software Quality Assurance professional with an extensive technical background, strong leadership abilities, and superior team management skills. He is experienced in numerous industries, adapting easily to the language and culture of the work environment. Stephen is also Director of Education for PMI’s Tucson chapter.

The course will be held on two consecutive Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuition is $450. You may choose from the following 2008 dates:

Saturday, May 24th and May 31
Saturday, October 18th and October 25th

You may register online at www.ceao.arizona.edu/comped, or call 621-7724. For more information, contact Cinda Gaynor at cgaynor@email.arizona.edu.
