Description: Course will address specialized cultural management practices and relevant construction principles for golf courses and sport turf fields. Students will develop organizational strategies used for maintenance of the above areas.
Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Available to qualified students for Pass/Fail Option.
Typical structure: 1 hour laboratory, 3 hours lecture
May be repeated: for credit 1 time (maximum 2 enrollments).

Step One: Complete the UA Undergraduate Non-Degree Application
You must be admitted to the University before you can take this course. You may submit your application as follows:

There is a $25 application fee for Arizona residents and a $65 application fee for non-residents.
Step Two: Complete the Outreach College Course Registration Form

Complete the course registration form and mail it along with your undergraduate non-degree admission application to the address above. Course payment or purchase order must be included with your forms.
The Registration deadline is January 12, 2009
IMPORTANT: At the time of registration, please indicate if you want pass/fail, audit or a letter grade. You may not change your grading status after March 10, 2009.
Letter Grade: A (Excellent) B (Good) C (Average) D (Poor) E (Failure)
Pass/Fail: P (Passing) or F (Failure)
Audit: Registered for no course credit. No grade point value.
Step Three: Submit Payment
Payment is due at the time of registration. If your company is paying for your course tuition and fees, please provide UA Outreach College with the billing address and contact person information. Purchase order invoice terms are NET 30.

(tuition $828.00, AFAT $13.00, Registration fee $25.00, UA Technology Fee: $57.50)If you are an admitted/current student and wish to register through UA Outreach College your cost is $853.00

Drop/Refund Policy:
The UA Outreach College office must be contacted if the student wishes to drop the course. Last day to drop without a grade is February 10, 2009. Last day to drop with a “W” (if passing) and with instructor’s approval is March 10, 2009.
Last day for a refund is January 27, 2009.
Grades:
The University of Arizona no longer mails out student grades. You may check Student Link after May 18, 2009 for your grade. Your student ID and pin number will be mailed to you at the beginning of the semester. To receive an unofficial transcript, please contact The UA Outreach College Registration Department.
