Returning to school, in some fashion, is high on many people’s to-do lists during retirement. OLLI/UA/GV is helping to build learning sites and programs to implement that list.

Over 400 Green Valley residents have become members of OLLI since its start in 2006. “Study Group Leaders” lead study groups on a variety of topics. Some examples of recent subjects include:

Who are we?

OLLI/UA/GV is a volunteer-driven organization with a mission to provide mature adults with educational and social enrichment opportunities that emphasize the joy of learning and personal fulfillment.

What is it like to be a Study Group Leader?

“I love to teach and I understand that good teaching is a performance art. It is so wonderful to lead a study group within OLLI because the other participants are there because they want to learn, they want to experience all that they can. It is so much more fulfilling to lead one of these sessions than it is to teach at a university – the feedback is much more positive and uplifting. I will lead groups as often and for as long as I can.” Steve

When do study groups meet?
