OLLI/UA is an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, one of over 100 that have been established throughout the United States. We are a nonprofit organization affiliated with The University of Arizona by a formal agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents.

OLLI/UA’s mission is to provide individuals age 50 and older an opportunity to be a constructive participant in the academic community. Committed to spreading the concept of active, involved, learning throughout Southern Arizona, we offer our members an enriched environment in which to learn and interact with peers as we explore a wide range of academic areas.

In addition to our emphasis on creating not-for-credit, intellectually stimulating study groups, we schedule periods for the critical study of film, book reviews, and for lively in-depth discussions about issues related to current events. We keep our minds open and active!

Whether you are one of our 650-plus members checking this Web site for updates to the curriculum, or someone who is interested in joining OLLI/UA for the first time, we hope you will spend some time exploring the site to discover all we have to offer. Remember to look over what’s currently being offered in each of our locations: Tucson (OLLI/UA), Green Valley (OLLI/UA/GV), and Marana (OLLI/UA/Marana).

If you would like to be notified about our next Open House event, send an e-mail with your contact information to ollimail@email.arizona.edu or give us a call at 520-626-9039.

We look forward to having you join our community of active learners!
